I recently created the club "Poker Stars" for PS4 players. I'm thinking about trying to gather some players to compete in 50k - 500k (possibly higher) casual tourney games.

If you're interested join the club so we can discuss further.

Either this community has been deleted by the owner or there are issues with my PS4,  I even tried to message via this forum.

I recently joined the Prominence Poker Legends community. It's the go-to for higher stakes casual tourneys on the PS4.

That creates a good question.  Which  casual tourney's are the most popular?

Is it possible that you all could provide the playerbase with gathering times based on your activity analysis?

For example, in the PS4 PP communities players set gathering times based on each regions 9pm time. With this setup all players can play at different times other than 9pm their local time. (Ex. 9pm GMT / 4pm US EST; 9pm US EST / 2am GMT)

The gathering times could be listed / posted on the main menu. It would be nice to have an activity meter and to know the online player count. The more transparency the better.

Mike/Clear,

Will some form of in-game networking be added to PP? A way for players to create clubs and link up.

That's on the list, no ETA.

I'm at work at that time,  thanks though.

I share the same challenge for Prominence Poker Legends.  I like the community just watching the discussion and I'm going to stay a part of it but their game times only work for me on weekends or if I'm playing hooky.  I threw myself out there as an alternate on Saturday but didn't get the call up :(

I work every other weekend so pretty much any club that does a points system I can't really be a part of.  I guess at this point I would be happy with a regular group of 6 players that would gather weekly but I have discovered that it is nearly impossible even after starting my own community.  Most times it's me and one of my community members inviting each other to countless public lobbys of buy ins that range anywhere from 50k to 500k.  It's a real bummer.

Managing a community is time consuming. It's also aggravating trying to maintain structure, because some people just want to do things their own way which eventually led to me calling it quits. If there was a way to consistently play casual tourneys I wouldn't have created a community. Although, I was able to bring players together and create a system to follow. Most, if not all, of my previous members joined Legends.

You can always create your own events in the Legends community. You don't necessarily have to participate in the "community" events. Also, they have a point system mainly for their regulars, but you can still participate in those events. The only downside to PS communities is that the "events wall" hasn't been working since October. I would've deleted my community anyway because of that.

Once the devs add in-game networking (clubs) linking up in communities won't be necessary. I envision that players will be able to spend chips to create a club after reaching a certain level (maybe level 100), name their club, set-up happy hour or gathering times, assign moderators, add players/remove inactive players, initiate games together, possibly quick chat to coordinate games better, be able to join up to 2-3 clubs, be able to make the club public or private, etc.

Maybe there can be a clubs leader board based on games played (or something). I'm interested to know how many players will be allowed in each club; 50,100??? When in-game clubs are added it will take this game to another level.

In game clubs would be the way to go, back in the day I played an online casino game where you could actually join a guild.  That was fun.

I can't find any matches :(There are people online but I just made Diamond. I even see "Matched 0/16" and nothing. It's been like this for 30mins earlier and 40mins as I'm typing this. I'm pretty pissed. I was glad I made Diamond but it's a curse too.

If it keeps up, I'm going to have to quit this game and not recommend it anymore. Waste of time. What's the point of "Finding Any Match" when it clearly isn't applying to me.  Surely "Finding Any Match" implies being included in any match there is. I tried at 13:00 GMT and now 23:19 GMT when Europe and the U.S. are in waking hours. I'm watching lots of matched players coming and going but nothing for me.

I'm on Xbox One.

Select Leaderboard, then select Ranked Tournaments and note how many diamond players there are spread over 24 time zones.

You've maxed out for the season in the Ranked tourney category for this season. Congratulations!

There's no point in playing Ranked tournaments anymore so my  suggestion would be to play  Ranked H2H or casual games until the 1st of March.

Yes, I think that's sound advice. I've never played Ranked H2H. So I'm assuming they are separate from each other? My current Tournie rank wont be affected?

And yeah, I figured as much about their being so little people in the top 30. I suppose I was forgetting that it get's reset every month and I'm really happy as it is. I don't want to lost my Diamond ranking.

I also eventually found a game there was 3 Platinums and 3 Diamonds. I ended up coming second and my ranking went to number 10! was so happy.

Thanks again for giving me a different perspective.

I'm currently moderating for the 'Positively Poker' PS community. We don't have a set schedule for casual tourneys, but we host several casual tourneys throughout the week. Our community also has monthly MTT (Multi Table Tournament) events. Join the community (and website club) to stay up to date.

See you at the tables!!!B|

FYI - The language setting states 'English (United Kingdom)', but this is a North American based community which has players from across the world.
