We're hoping to have more information to share about a particular feature people have been requesting, but as of right now it's out of our hands.  Trust me, once we can share information, you'll be the first one to know :)

After the updates are implemented I'm curious to know what's next for PP.

I think instead of creating more venues you all should focus on expanding the functionalities of the current venues. Since I started playing this game I always thought that being able to navigate The Deck Casino, for example, would be cool. So players could engage with other forms of playful gambling; that being slots, video poker, video blackjack, keno, etc. Although, I think the game in totality should revolve around the current poker setup, but maybe change the name to just 'Prominence'. Also, The Renegade and The Diamond Suite venues are my favorite, along with The Deck Casino. I think they would be nice lounge areas, and maybe players can play pool too (in The Renegade and The Deck Casino) along with video poker, etc., in all the venues. Additionally, players can view tables in real time (without hand display) from a distance and have an option to enter 'spectator mode' for up to four players or something. Spectator mode could consist of the delayed gameplay as mentioned in another topic. Additionally, players could also have their own condo with amenities, which can be purchased with a lot of chips or real money.

A big issue with avatar world based gaming is communication via text chat. I'm always in favor of pre assigned text chat and phrases, and if players want to communicate further they can do so via voice chat (or via their console's network).

I strongly believe that this game should take full advantage of the F2P model in a more robust way. IMO, this game should continue to evolve in that way and offer as much 'paid' digital content as possible (fortnite... hint hint). Because if we're being honest nothing is really free.

Well just wanted to share my thoughts like always... take it or leave it. Right now the avatar world based gaming market on console is mediocre at best. There's room for you guys if you really want it.

Lastly, the more time players spend in your game the better.😎

I'm curious...

Why do PC players have to download PP using Steam?

I think this barrier is one of the reasons the PC player base isn't robust.

Additionally, there is no Steam link on the PP homepage. I just downloaded Fortnite to  my CPU directly from their website. I think that's the best way to go.

Just some thoughts...

Think of Steam as a publisher, similar to 505games for PS4 and XB.

PP is a small software company who has a contract with publishing companies.

That makes sense and thanks for the response, but how does this method hold up against the competition.

Right now I can go to WSOP, Pokerstars, etc. and play directly from their website. (Pokerstars has to be downloaded.)

I've spent some time playing PP on my PC, and as a customer I'm not astounded with the results (regarding the player population). Something needs to change immediately. The goal should be to penetrate the poker market and demographics using the proper channels. While Steam is popular with most PC gamers it's not the place for 'casino games'. I've checked multiple times over the past year or so.

The proof is in the pudding.... If they want the money to grow they need to compete in the 'right arena'. They should tell Valve (or whoever) to give them a break on this game specifically and let potential customers download this game directly from the website. I know it's possible.

My wife asked me the other day... 'Why is there a Walgreens across the street from every CVS?". I told her to 'compete' is to be 'visible'. Customers have to know that you exist. The life we live in is all about 'convenience' and downloading one software just to get to another isn't convenient... at all.

I just googled 'free poker'.

I found PP on page 7 and it was a link to the Playstation store. I found PP for Steam on page 9.

It's hard to find a business when it's located in the back alley.

DaWiz,

You do pick the oddest things to generate a troll item in this forum.

Pipeworks is a small software studio in Eugene, Oregon.  I really don't thing they want or need the headaches of publishing.   They're to busy enjoying all the things their pristine part of Oregon offers.

I think their PC version is there to test updates and try new things before submitting them to the bulk of their players.

Nah... it ain't even like that.

I'm currently laying in my bed playing PP on my laptop. As a customer I'm noticing some things that should be fixed to enhance the user experience.

I'm not trolling at all. This is not an odd topic. It's been mentioned several times in the past. Farmer, I like you, but watch your tone with me. I hope you're enjoying retirement.

My post are for the devs to see. Not necessarily forum members. On a lighter note, I'm playing my third ranked game. The new ranked setup is working smoothly.

Devs... Why is there a PC version??? Is it just for testing??? I'm sure the PC player base would like to know.

Well I'm done with the PC version since it's just a test site. I'm not a test dummy. Plus, my PC doesn't have a lot of graphical power.

Farmer... You put the cherry on top for me. I'm so tired of this complacent player base trying to shut me up. This is a FORUM!!!! I talk about more real shit than anybody!!!! I try more shit than anybody!!!! And I'm still disrespected!!!

SO FUCK IT!!! I'M OUT!!!! >:(

The PC version is NOT a test site.  There is a PC version of this game for people who prefer to play on PC.

Wiz, you seriously need to chill out and stop taking everything so personally.  You are correct, this is a forum.  However, it's a forum for other player's and the devs to talk about the game.  People are entitled to their opinions just as much as you are.

Mature debate requires an acceptance of other opinions.  Us vs Them is one of the major problems facing the world.

You've promised to leave more than once.

My statement that the PC version is a test site was in no way an assertion that it was any less important, only that it served a dual function.

It appears that all updates/improvements are first installed on the PC version, were, it appears that corrections are more easily applied.

The PP devs have said that there is a more stringent certification process required before updates are made public on the XB and PS4 version.

Nah... its all good.

I'm not here to be perfect. I mess up sometimes and I own my mistakes.

I care about the game and its future. I care about the devs and want them to continue developing. I care about the playerbase having the best user experience.

During my tenure on this forum I've tried to be fair and balanced with the majority of my posts. Most of my positive posts are ignored by forum members. The reason I've stayed around is because late last year the devs reached out to us and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to reach back.

Since late last year most of the likes for my post have come from the devs and I really appreciate them. They're really the only people who matter in regards to developing the game. IMO, the forum response to the devs reaching out has been lackluster. The Roadmap forum response is evidence.

I've only called one person on this forum a troll and that was Rotravi aka Tor Ivar. I considered his repetitive posts and constant critique of the game (w/o considering the Roadmap) trolling. Although, his actions still don't justify me calling him a troll and I apologize for that.

Personally, I don't think I've been trolling the forum (or creating odd troll items). Sometimes I might be satirical, but I try not to be offensive. If I've offended anyone in any way, I apologize. I'm not a messianic figure and I will never be perfect on this earth. So it's not my goal to try and meet those expectations.

To avoid confliction on this forum I'll just direct message the devs moving forward.

Have a great day!:)
