What is your most requested feature?

I think a min/max buy-in shoukd be added in casual games instead of only being aboe to enter with a singke amount and ending up on a table with players that have been there for a while with between 2-5times your starting amount. Little unfair to a joiner i think? I would also like to be able to text in a game, to table and individuals?

I've been asking for this since the game came out.  An option to play as a deep stack from the start, rather than be limited to just 100 big blinds from the start.  I think it makes the game more interesting and would help curb future chip inflation.  I think adding this feature would take the training wheels off the casual games and really let the game and players shine!

Think about it tho, If we had an option to start with a 200xBB stack, everyone would use it. The option would only serve to hinder those who don't know about it. Hypothetically: you join a game with a 200x stack. everyone else also has a 200x stack, and one guy has a 400x because he's been playing for a while. "Shenanigans!" You proclaim, "I should be able to start with a 400x stack. This is so unfair to me, the person who hasn't played a single hand yet!". So then a 400xBB option is added, and everyone uses it, and you join a game against a guy who's earned an 800x stack. "Shenanigans!" You proclaim yet again. "I should be able to..." (Spoiler alert: These hypothetical stacks keep doubling ad nauseum.)

I agree that having a deep stack is an advantage, but it's not like players can just pull that advantage out of thin air. They have to earn it each and every time they sit down at a new table.

I think having it capped at 200 big blinds is fine.  Its deep enough that you can still play back at someone with 400 big bilnds or more.  People are asking for this so that the ring games mirror the games we saw on TV or the real games being streamed online.  The televised games are based off deep stack play, the minimum buy ins are usually at 200-250 big blinds, some buy in for more.  The premise of Prominence is that it simulates the feel of a live game, and its done a good job of that.  But live games tend to play at deeper stacks to start than the 100 big blind format we have now (which is more of an online format).

At deeper stacks it becomes even more of a post flop game, with fundamentals like balanced  hand ranges and pot control being more important than on 100 big blinds.  The game becomes more strategic and more creative.

I think on the menu they can have a min buy in and max buy in.  It can be displayed as say "buyin 1mil/2mil", the blinds would still be 5k/10k but you have an option for how high you want to buy in.  If you bust out you can have an option for "Y-1 mil buyin, B-2 mil buy in"...so players have a choice of how much to rebuy if they bust.   I think just having the ability to buy in for double would be a great option.  I just want that option, if players only want to buy in for minimum that's their choice.

Prominence is a great game, it just needs the deep stack option for its ring games to mirror live ring games. ( A huge % them start off with deep stacks)

Wanted to jump in real quick.

@drew0987 Make sure you read the forum rules. If you have opinions we want to hear them, but make sure you're providing feedback in a constructive manner.

Other members of the community are right, it's a one-way ticket to Ban Town, U.S.A.  So you have been warned.

We do read through all the feedback, and like many members can attest to actually action off of that feedback in our updates. Not everything can be changed, but we do try to fix, tweak, and adjust what we can.

Detailed hand history. I hate having to record all my gameplay.

Also, more provisionals. 3 is way too random. If you have a bad beat, bad cards, or played badly even once - you grind through lower tiers for the majority of the season (unless you play 24/7). I would prefer 7, but would definately compromise and agree to 5!

Buyins should be raised, as well, for higher tiers brackets - as well as incentive for Diamond tier players to play more then 1 game. Maybe you lose a point if you don't play a tourney for 24+ hours, 2 points if you go another 24+ hours, 3 points if you go a third day, etc.

Finally a playoff within each bracket would be nice. Winner awarded a matching bracelet they can wear in game (Diamond champion gets diamond bracelet, platinum champion get platinum bracelet, etc).

It takes 4 or 5 first places to raise a full tier. It's not that bad.

If you have really bad luck (or just can't concentrate in the game and keep losing), and you drop several tiers, take it as a challenge. This happened to me this season, where I briefly dropped to silver. Rather than let this dampen my spirit, I have now risen to the better half of platinum. A few games more and I'll probably reach diamond.

(Man, do silver players play differently from gold and platinum players. That game was over quicker than I could say hello. With me winning it, of course.)

What I would like to ve able to do is in-game be able to check a players profile (member since, bankroll ets) in order to better judge how decent or well-off said player is. For example: this guy just keeps going all in. I he just down on his bankroll and trying  for some quick cash increases or do i think they can play an maybe not actually on a bluff or something?

I play on PC on STEAM

1. The ability to be in Game while waiting for another game like a tournament or a larger game to open up. For example maybe a 10k ring game is live so im in thier playing but i would like a 50k game with at least three players in it. Or Even better i would like to wait for my ranked tournament to be ready instead of staring at a screen in frustration for an hour.

2. Opt in group chat ( typing) . Obviously add report button for those that are going to broadcast cards during play.

3. If my friend is playing i want to be able to easily find him or her. Spectate not play with.

4. Hand Historys

5. The ability to mark players with my own notes or colors or something so i can identify what type of player i recall them being.

I agree with all of these suggestions. Change number four to number one though!

Also, a way to spectate friends would be great (number 3) no chat though - unless it has a report system for collusion.

Why not go further and code in a system to spectate any match, at least for a few minutes. You can do it in a casino by just walking around.

But only if you can't see any hands during a round. Seeing your friend's hand might or might not be safe, but it's already prone to abuse and exploitation. Safer if you can't see any hands.

(You can't see any hands when watching a tournament in-situ either, so it would make sense.)

Additional:

For those of us that primarily prefer tournament play. I would like the ability to say i only want to wait for a game with x out of x players within my level structure. You this as a common thread for Diamond players. They stop playing because losing to a non Diamond highly effects their ranking more than the risk is worth so they stop playing... If i had a game i would never want to encourage not playing.. SO. The solution i see is a counter you set yourself. I am waiting for a game that is at least 4 out of 7 Diamond..... 3 out of  7 gold etc... let the wait timer tick anyway. This is especially effective on totally dead or dying communities like the PC. Even at gold im playing against the majority of the table  in very low ranking where a third position nets me a loss. Thats unrealistic. Im also a terrible ring game player so the whole thing just leads me to play less and less instead of waiting my 30-50 minutes for a tournament.

I am willing to wait hours if the competition is actually on the same level and the risk/reward is evened out.

Is there a way for members of clubs to have games amongst themselves?   This would eliminate the randomness of playing with those "others".

Except with the new matchmaking, it's difficult to arrange to be in the same game.

I have a buddy I used to play with all the time. He played more for the social aspect. The last few times we tried to get in the same game even though we were close in rank at the Gold level, with the new matchmaking it was a fail. He's since stopped playing.

I can only imagine how hard it'd be to make sure 6 people were playing at the same table.

Aside from that, even if it was possible, do I want to play the same five players all the time?

Hi, apologies if these have been mentioned by someone else, I haven't read the entire thread.

I would really like a fold and show option. As much as I like showing my hand after a big bluff it would be awesome if I was last to act and I made what I think is a big laydown and have the ability to show my opponent without having to screenshot it and message over the PSN.

The other feature I think would be good is having a moderated create your own nickname with the legendary and billionaire etc, nicknames reserved to those acquire them through ability.

Lastly I would like the ability to buy any items that are currently only able to unlock through loot crate. Owning a certain item used to be a sign of someone who could afford to buy expensive items but now anyone can get said item randomly through loot crate.

Keep up the awesome job

There needs to be a way to inhibit someone from spam gifting individuals during a game.  It's one thing to have it happen in a casual game, as you can just leave the table, but has become a very widespread spam tactic during tournaments.  It's something that should be easily fixed, but until then is very frustrating if you have to deal with such people.

I should note I am playing on Xbox One.

I would like to see the refill alert made smaller. It takes up too much room on the screen in the top right hand corner and can be very annoying when someone on that table is constantly refilling the table just to get their rep more higher. I'm having problems in seeing how much someone has raised if they are sitting near that end when it pops up, and it's just plain annoying too. Agree with DaveDiamond

This is why I will stop playing PP unless it's for a league/community event,  it has gotten ridiculous.  If I want to play against a bunch of people that want to screw around all day I`ll play Zynga poker.

How about just limiting how many times you can refill the table (or anybody else's table item for that matter) in a given time? In other words, when you have refilled, you can't do so for the next 10 minutes or so. The option would simply not be available during this cool-off period.

Unlikely for this to happen, though. A popular thread asking for this has been there for like a month, and developers have not responded to it. Or to anything else for that matter. Somehow I get the feeling that they aren't even reading the forum anymore. Even troublemakers aren't getting warned or sanctioned anymore by any moderator or staff member.

So for the spamming issue i think there is something everyone might be failing to understand or think about. From a PP perspective this is a way to take coin out of play in a system where they charge people to buy coins who aren't very good players.  I am not saying it's the only way, it's just an additional way. It is beneficial for PP to have a bleed off for coins in distribution. so it is not likely they will wan't to correct it. To that end.... because E-level means something to people like steam badges or achievements etc... this is a nice set up because it doesn't effect the entire play population negatively. Therefore.... the real best solution is to be able to opt out of the pop up notification so in essence those annoyed by it can reap the benefits with out being reminded it is happening. AKA the ostrich solve.

No. You're fine. You explained it very clearly. You must read the Wall Street Journal :P

Opting out of notifications is not a solution. Players will still see the refill spam associated with their table items. It forces players not to use other table items bc of the refill build ups. Which will ultimately affect the quality of the game.

It was a great way and level to get loot cases. Ignore the pop ups - no big in my opinion.  Looks like the rep has been nerfed for gifting anyway.

You all should really consider adding in-game networks to this game. Direct message me for details.

I won't be sharing my thoughts, experiences, or suggestions on the forum anymore.

It's not worth my time.
